My FAQ

Why do you write in english even though you are from Italy?
It's not an ideological choice. I would really love to speak every language in the world because I would like to communicate with everyone, but my name is not Pico della Mirandola and some things are really out of my reach.
So, I focus on English. English is common and easy. English is funny and welcoming. English is a nice language that allows a certain mistreatment degree without protesting too much.  :)

Whick kind of strange animal are you?
I know it's not easy to guess. According to my authors the deep orange spot on my chest should be enough to mark me out as a sure red-breast.

What does your name mean?
My name has not a proper meaning. It's an onomatopoeic term and it refers to the call of several little birds as tits, chaffinches, chiff-chaffes, wrens and many others. And obviously red-breasts like me.

Every now and then some of the most famous cartoon characters show beside you and often they are described as bad and nasty. Why?
There's nothing personal against Mickey Mouse, Spongebob or Super Mario, just to name a few. It's only a metaphoric description of reality.
With my character I represent the new-comer, the beginner, the fifth wheel, the stranger, the jolly free naive spirit while the famous cartoon characters are used to represent the Powers that be, the cynical Status Quo, the bad face behind the mask of respectability, the conservative forces that always reject any request for change.

Do you consider yourself an ordinary cartoon character or a weird conceptual art experiment?
Both.
My features are those of an usual cartoon character but themes, modalities, purposes and my authors' roots fall within the conceptual art immense field.
I don't really know where this is going to lead me to. The only thing I know is that the Internet is an artistic media in itself, like painting, sculpture, photography, literature, performing art and so on.
